How Alephtav Consultancy collects, uses and protects information when you use this website. Last updated June 2026.

What we collect

<p>We only collect what we need to run this site and respond to you:</p><ul><li><strong>Information you send us</strong> — name, email, phone, organisation and message details when you book a consultation, request a quote, use the contact form or create an account.</li><li><strong>Account data</strong> — your email and a securely hashed password if you register. We never store passwords in plain text.</li><li><strong>Order details</strong> — the products or services you order. Payments are processed by Chapa; we do not see or store your card or bank details.</li><li><strong>Analytics</strong> — only if you click <em>Accept</em> on the cookie banner, we use PostHog to understand which pages are visited, from which country, and on which type of device. Analytics is off by default.</li></ul>

Cookies and local storage

<p>Essential storage keeps the site working and is always on: your cookie choice (<code>cookie_consent</code>), your login session, your cart and your light/dark theme preference. These never leave your browser except to authenticate your own requests.</p><p>Optional analytics cookies are set by PostHog only after you accept. You can change your mind at any time using <strong>Cookie preferences</strong> in the footer.</p>

How we use your information

<ul><li>To respond to consultation, quote and contact requests and to deliver what you ordered.</li><li>To send transactional emails (confirmations, status updates) via SendGrid.</li><li>To keep the site secure and understand how it is used so we can improve it.</li></ul><p>We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.</p>

Who processes your data

<p>We rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Vercel (website hosting), Railway and MongoDB Atlas (application and database hosting), SendGrid (email delivery), Chapa (payments) and PostHog (analytics, with consent). Each provider is bound by its own privacy and security commitments.</p>

Retention and your rights

<p>We keep enquiry and order records for as long as needed to serve you and meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw analytics consent.</p>
